"Caption": "I am 49 years old, born and raised in Los Angeles, and currently living in Las Vegas.\n\nI studied fine art and photography in college, eventually graduating from Cal State University in Fullerton with a degree in Art. Thought my emphasis was in Drawing and Painting, I took many photography classes which turned my art towards a more gritty, realistic direction. \n\nAfter college, I put painting and photography to the side. Around 2007, I took up photography again, starting with a Canon Powershot A1000. After a year of only using that, I got my first DSLR, a Pentax Kx. From there I got a Pentax K-01, then upgraded to a Nikon D610.\n\nAt the beginning of 2018, after shooting digital for over 10 years, I picked up a Nikon F100 someone has gifted to me, and began exclusively shooting film. I process my 35mm b\u0026w film at home, and scan it with a Plustek 8100 dedicated film scanner.\n\nAt this point, I wonder if I'll ever go back to shooting digital.",
